I came to photography in 1978 with an Olympus OM10 SLR and an Olympus OM1n, I discovered humanist photography during the early 1990s after meeting Robert Doisneau who by his kindness and a brief conversation, led me down his legacy and showed me the path, that I still follow today.

I photographied those years mainly during holiday periods. Now my studies and my job is giving me few opportunities to indulge my daily passion.

I discovered the digital photography in 2005 with a compact digital camera Nikon Coolpix 3100, then I quickly switched to a Canon EOS 350D DSLR and after a few months to a Canon Eos 40D. Now I currently work almost exclusively with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II N which gives me the advantage of a great autofocus speed for the street scenes and an excellent grip.I now work exclusively with digital because I can "develop" post-processing my raw files as I wish and for each photo.

My photographic work is essentially to keep the moments of life from Paris to leave a trace of this life for future generations. In June 2011 I got the idea and I created of this group with my fellow travelers through our photographic walks in Paris.
